January has been a big month for me.
I've come to terms with going to college (I experienced an internal breakdown about for about three of the four weeks of this month.
I BOUGHT A FREAKING PLANE TICKET TO ITALY.
I scheduled my first ever car appointment and actually said on the phone "Yea, I don't know that much about cars" and then giggled like a five year old.
I got contacts again because I like drying out my eyes as recreation. Just kidding, but fo' realz though. Does anyone else have a problem with this? I feel like I've tried a million different brands and nothing really seems to work. Any suggestions on the right solutions or drops? I want to be able to wear contacts but not with all the pain involved because I don't think that's normal.
I baked 48 cookies and proceeded to eat about 47 of them. Maybe, 48. At this point no one is really sure.
Scholarships have become my focus this month (until eternity), but ya know gotta pay that tuition some how. (One of the scholarships I might apply for listed as a point of eligibility "applicant must be...perceived as benefiting the human race." The first thing I thought when I read this was "well I hope they don't find out I'm one more awkward bone away from being institutionalized because then I'd really have a problem")
I've started running on a consistent basis again, which is like huge for me because I remember clearly swearing off running forever after my senior XC season. But, I'm glad I started it back up again.
WARREN WILSON CLASS OF 2017 FACEBOOK PAGE IS OPEN! Holla. I was in Panera with Beth when I received the e-mail to join the page. When I saw the invite I audibly squealed and yelled "This is the best day of my life!" I kid you not.
Anyways, I guess this post breaks my hiatus, but I feel renewed (maybe just because I gave the blog a face lift, what do you think?) and ready to get back into the swing of things!
xoxo
