Oh, and I've been climbing trees.
So far during Fall Break I've read half a book, watched the first season of New Girl, made homemade applesauce, ate way too much trail mix, and zenned out to this yoga video.
Oh, and I've been climbing trees.

Here at WW Fall Break is quickly approaching, but we do have to get through midterms first! To take a break from studying I've put together a mash up of what has been sparking my fancy so far this week. Happy Hump Day! Quotes: "Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind." Rudyard Kipling Links: I call this the Awkward Salamander. Discuss. dub-dub-cee has a tumblr. Czech it out. "Leave people better than how you found them." Music: Pictures: Love xoxox
Let me tell ya it's been a heck-uh-va week, and I know I'm not alone on this one. Fall break begins a week from today and I'm looking forward to it a great deal. I'm having a great time here, but that's not to say this girl wouldn't enjoy a break from classes and work. Because this girl would. Despite the stressful nature of my week I'm grateful for it and what it taught me. I'm going to keep it short today by sharing some of my favorite links and reads over the past week, with a few pictures mixed in, I hope you enjoy :) First up this read from GML. "But that’s why it’s so important to realize that joy is actually uncircumstantial. It’s a constant; a state of being. Joy is a gift, but you must choose to accept it." We can be lovers. My academic life. My work life. My social life. My workout life. I'm hoping for a balanced, less-stress week ahead filled with tea, stretching and laughter with good people--wish me luck!
Stay joyful brave ones! Love from the valley xoxoxx |
