With all that said, I said it because I read this article from GML and was inspired to share the 5 reasons I can't wait for my first fall spent in North Carolina. So, without further ado, let's begin!
1. Cool weather and fall leaves: Fall trumps spring as the most beautiful season because fall doesn't have humidity, but also because of the mosaic of colors the leaves turn into throughout September, October, and November. Nestled within the Appalachian Mountains I have feeling I'm going to fall in love with my home all over again (everyday) for the next three months.
4. Bonfires and crunchy leaves: Truthfully I love all outdoor activities that fall brings from backyard football, to racking leavings, to bonfires and s'mores, and apple picking. I can't get enough of all of it. Plus what's more satisfying than hopping on crunchy leaves. The answer: nothing.
5. Food, family, and holidays: Like most people my favorite holidays come in the fall and winter. I've made it no secret that I'll be dressing up as a button for Halloween, and Thanksgiving will be my first time back home since August, and Christmas is just the bees-knees all around. I can't wait for all the festivities to begin!
What are a few things you're looking forward to this fall?
