Anyways, the past two days have been crazy. "Corporate" visited the Hallmark store I work at so the Presidents of the company came in to see what's up in good ol' Delaware. They stayed for about an hour and I shook the President's hand without embarrassing myself or anyone else in the vicinity so the day was a success. I had never experienced the, err, let's call it excitement, leading up to the visit of big whigs and lemme tell ya the past week has been hectic. Who knew the million dollar industry of selling overpriced cards to old women and poor gifters could strike such fear in people. Lesson learned.
On Wednesday I went Christmas shopping with Adam and I'm pleased to say that I only have three more people to shop for and it's not even Thanksgiving. I'm really proud of myself. Like, parent of a middle school honor studnet with a bumper sticker proud.
I'm thankful for...
Er'ybody in the military. It was just Veteran's Day and I didn't say anything about, but I really am thankful for the men and women that serve. They work too hard with not enough credit. So holla a thank you at the next serviceman or woman you see, I'm sure they'd appreciate it.
Ciao!
